Need a quick and easy Father’s Day card?
Go to Cricut and download a .99 digital image. I used this one — a silhouette of a man and child fishing in a boat. Cut it from any color cardstock. Back the image with solid cardstock to paint the sky behind them and water beneath them. I was going for a sunrise look with a pink sky behind them, their blue-ish silhouette and brown water. If I made it again I might make the cut in a dark gray and back it with blue sky and maybe a lagoon water. Or you could use a print — how about something from the Brushed paper pack for the sky and something from Jackson for the water?
There are lots of possibilities! You will spend more time choosing your paper than assembling this card. If you don’t want Dad to see where the paper is pieced inside the card, just cover the whole thing with a square of cardstock. Love the image but your project isn’t Father’s Day oriented? Just trim off the words Happy Father’s Day or edit the image in Design Studio or Craft Room.
I’d like to see what you come up with so motor or paddle over to the Heart 2 Heart Challenges blog where this week’s theme is Man, Oh Man!
