Livin’ the Good Life

I’m celebrating! It’s Sept. 1 and you’re able to order everything in the new Annual Inspirations Idea Book.

I used the new Artistry cartridge (being a consultant has perks!) to make a wine bottle tag for gift-giving. I also used some of the new colors of cardstock that debut today.

I couldn’t resist using Sparkles Clear Assortment, gold sequins and Bling Gems Gold Assortment to make the champagne bubbles! Fun! And I noticed quite a few projects that add a gem or enamel dot to the center of a sequin on my first flip through the new Idea Book so I tried out that trend too. FYI: Those embellies and the teal glitter paper did NOT retire so you can order them.

These images — Whisper flutes and Champagne, well, champagne — were cut from a collection with a New Year’s Eve theme but as I created I realized they would work equally well for a bottle of bubbly given as a wedding or anniversary gift — or really any occasion that calls for a champagne toast … graduation? new job? new Idea Book?!

The cartridge comes with three stamp sets that coordinate to some of the images you can cut with the cart. The sentiment is stamped in Cocoa on a Desert Sand cardstock bubble and it’s one of the stamps that comes with the cart. AND NOW — instead of chipboard — the cartridges will come with a pack of cardstock! The Enchantment pack was included with my cartridge so I took the opportunity to give you a peek at two of these rich, luscious colors: Peacock and Eggplant.

New colors mean a color family got an overhaul. This time it was Enchantment that retired some colors and added these new ones: Peacock and Eggplant (which I used) plus Sapphire, Saffron, Fern, Poppy and Pomegranate.

Also new is the ability to order Artistry as a Digital Collection (for $79) or the traditional collection with a cartridge for ($99).
