Through the Window

Interactive elements on a page elevate its “wow” factor. When I was a child I loved pop-up books and pages constructed with flaps to open and pieces to slide.

Close To My Heart’s scrapbooking how-to program Magic, teaches how to construct elements that slide, spin and fold out to reveal more photos and journaling.

I used the “Revolving Door” pattern from Magic to create this layout about my daughter and the jokes and riddles she loved to tell. Rotate the spinner to reveal the answers to the jokes.

Think of the spaces as windows instead of doors that let you see what’s hidden behind.

“Through the Window” is this week’s theme at Heart 2 Heart Challenges. It’s a brand-new month so you have until Nov. 30 to interpret the challenge with your own papercrafting project. Just make sure you use some Close To My Heart products in your creation. Then share it with us at the link-up on the site.
